“Do Work” · 2024–25

Doozy Crew was tasked with creating immersive LED screen content for entertainment prompts, theme nights, and community moments — delivering dynamic graphics that matched the energy on the court.

Each season, the Pistons organization sets a creative theme that shapes the in-arena identity. For the 2024–25 season, the theme was “Do Work,” a bold, gritty campaign that called for visuals to match.

01 / The Challenge

One system, dozens of screens.

Designing for dozens of unique screen sizes and fan prompts required a system that could flex creatively while staying true to the Pistons' branding and seasonal direction.

Each animation had to be visually impactful, theme-relevant, and technically precise — rendered across multiple aspect ratios to fit specific LED panels throughout the arena.

02 / The Solution

Built bold. Animated to move.

Our process began with custom static designs in Adobe Illustrator, tailored for prompts like the Kroger T-Shirt Toss, Honor a Ball Kid, Pistons Alumni, and Little Caesars Pizza Toss — built with the “Do Work” theme in mind, combining bold type, strong color palettes, and motion-ready layouts.

After design approval, we animated each piece in After Effects, occasionally incorporating Cinema 4D for 3D elements, and built preview screens using Unreal Engine to show the Pistons team how everything would look live. Final renders were exported in all required screen formats.

The animations created a high-energy atmosphere inside Little Caesars Arena, giving fans memorable touchpoints throughout the game-day experience.
